Education: I majored in Psychology and double-minored in Human Relations and Criminology, Law, & Justice. I attended the University of Iowa College of Law, during which time I interned with both the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Iowa State Public Defender.
Experience
During my undergraduate research, studies, and time in Iowa, I interned with both the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Iowa State Public Defender where I was able to assist clients in meetings, depositions, court hearings, case research, and other aspects of their cases.
I also took on many simple misdemeanor cases in my time with the Iowa State Public Defender.
Background
I grew up in western Illinois, along the Mississippi River, before moving to Iowa for college. After graduating law school, I moved to Colorado with my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I love living in Colorado and have made the most of the change in scenery by hiking, biking, and driving through the mountains on the weekends. When I'm not working, I'm usually playing a video game, watching a documentary, or playing the piano.
Community Involvement
Over the last five years, I volunteered as a Mock Trial Judge for the Iowa State Bar Association and as a student volunteer while in Iowa. With my recent move to Colorado and joining Bruno Lilly LeClere, I've enjoyed integrating with the community and finding opportunities to help those in need in and around Greeley.
